Nico appeared in the room whistling to himself despite his almost constant throwing up he was happy to be home, he couldn't wait to see his dad, new step-mum and siblings. Though he would miss the alone time that he had with Percy he quite enjoyed having Percy all to himself, but he was glad for all the alone time that they had but he couldn't be selfish and keep him from his family, even though they were a family now. As Nico thought that his lips curled into a happy smile, a family he finally had a family again after his sister was taken from him he had no family apart from his father who couldn't be there for him because of Zeus' laws. Now that he had a family again it may have consisted of only is Husband but he was happy with that, he had no need for a large family as long as he had Percy everything would be alright. 

He caught a whiff of coffee and sprinted to the bathroom feeling that his breakfast was coming back to visit him, he threw up violently retching into the bowl bringing up anything that he had eaten in the last few hours. He moaned in pain wrapping an arm around his stomach and resting his head on the edge of the bowl, he didn't want to move but eventually forced himself to because he really really needed to watch the disgusting taste of bile out of his mouth before it set of another wave of nausea.  He washed his mouth out and wet a wash cloth with cold water, walking back out into the lounge room he lay on the couch and rested the cool wash cloth over his eyes praying that the bug that he had would go away so that he could eat without puking all the time.

Percy

The first place Percy headed when they got home was to the kitchen to start some coffee. He was in desperate need of caffeine. He filled the kettle with his powers, which he had been using on every possible occasion so he could perfect what was new. He then set the kettle to boil and grabbed two cups from the cupboard grabbing out the coffee to make them. He grabbed a tea bag for Nico's having worked out that the tea was calming on his husbands stomach recently. They had had to cut there trip short due to Nico getting sick and if it lasted much longer he would have to talk to Apollo. He poured the water on the coffee and the tea and waited for the tea to brew while he put milk in to his coffee.

Percy sighed when he heard Nico in the bathroom and had been about to go in there when he heard him head back to the living room. Percy picked up his coffee and the tea, after taking the tea bag out, for Nico and headed into the room sipping at his coffee as he went. He placed the drinks on the coffee table in the middle of the room and took a seat on the floor between the coffee table and the couch. He ran his hands through Nico's hair, keeping it off his face. "Felling okay Nico?", he asked him softly, his coffee completely forgotten as he worried about Nico. "You sure you wont let me Iris call Apollo to see if he can help?", he continued. He had always hated seeing Nico hurt or sick. He felt hopeless when Nico was sick like this and he felt like he had failed in protecting him when he got hurt. He hated feeling like he failed Nico in keeping him safe because he felt he was also failing Bianca, who he still felt guilty over her death.

"No, it's okay, I'll be fine love." He tells him, his voice a bit raw and croaky from the constant throwing up, he sat up slowly, rubbing his stomach with a sigh. "Tea?" He croaked out, leaning forward and kissing him softly. "Sit with me?" He asked patting the spot next to him, before reaching out and taking his tea cup clutching it closely to his chest, hoping that the smell of the coffee wouldn't set off another wave of nausea, unfortunately that didn't happen. He quickly placed the cup down wincing when he split some of his tea over his hand, he threw his other hand over his mouth heaving.

He ran towards the bathroom, falling to knees skinning them he cried out softly but started to vomit at the same time, he lent over the bowl resting his head on his arm. "Can you come rub my back?" He asked, softly retching again, there was nothing left so he was dry heaving, making his throat raw he felt like crap and he didn't like making Percy feel bad but he felt really really sick. "And can you get rid of the smell of the coffee makes me feel sick, maybe, maybe we should call Apollo, I feel really bad." He tells him before puking again, flecks of blood coming up from his throat because of how much puking he had been doing causing his throat to become raw and ripped.

"Can you bring me some soothers, my throat is really sore, and maybe my tea." He asks, his voice almost gone, his throat really hurt, he rubbed it as he rubbed his stomach, he moved and lent against the wall, resting his head back on the wall and rubbing his stomach and throat.

Percy stood and grabbed Nico's tea before taking a seat beside him wrapping a hand around him as he handed him the tea. He was worried, Nico either had a really bad bug or something else was going on. When Nico headed to the bathroom again Percy stood with his coffee and headed into the kitchen. He heard Nico call out and used his powers to call through a mist in the kitchen sink. He dug a drachma out of his pocket and flicked into into the mist. Taking a gulp of his coffee after he gave Isis Apollo's name for his call. When Apollo came on he explained the situation and hoped the the older god would be able to come and help them. When Nico called out to him he said goodbye to the god and turned the water off. He gulped down the last of his coffee and cleaned the cup with water at a flick of his wrist. He grabbed some soothers and Nico's tea before heading into the bathroom. Percy knelt on the floor behind him and rubbed his back, passing the soothers to him and putting the tea where he could reach it. "I have already called him. He should be here as soon as he can", he replied, comforting him as much as he could.

"Thanks." He said, his voice almost gone, he snuggled close to Percy pushing him to the ground and snuggling into his lap and hiding his face into Percy's neck, with a soft yawn dozing off slightly, his breathing slightly off because of his sore throat. He felt miserable, and sick, he really wanted to be better, he hated being sick because when he was a kid he was never really, really sick so now he was horrible at being sick and hated being sick with all his being. 

He woke coughing, and wheezing his throat killing him, he grabbed some soothers, sucking on them to hopefully sooth his really sore throat, he hated puking the most, he really hated it. He also sipped at the tea leaning against Percy. "I'm sorry for worrying you." He tells him, resting his head on his shoulder. "I'll be fine it's probably just the flu and we are just worrying for nothing." He repeats hoping against all hope that what he was saying was true, he was worried about it being something serious like cancer, he didn't know if gods could get cancer or any serious illness no one had ever told them one way or the other about serious illness that gods could could get, it probably wasn't cancer but he couldn't help but worry what if he was going to die now, he didn't want to, please, gods, don't let him die because he didn't want to leave Percy. Not now, not after everything he had been through, he was finally happy, it wasn't fair, it wasn't!

Percy smiled and wrapped his arms around Nico, "The flu is definitely one possibility I could live with. But I think there is another more likely option that would make me even happier", Percy replied, his hands rubbing circles on Nico's stomach. He wasn't sure but he did hope his suspicions where right. Percy placed a soft kiss on Nico's neck, "Either way I doubt what you have is going to be anything that is deadly. I know what you are thinking Nico so don't try lying to me about that", he continued. He wondered how long it would be until Apollo turned up. He didn't want Nico to continue to worry over this when he knew there was nothing for him to worry about.

Apollo appeared in the main room following the sound of voices he walked into the bathroom, and smiled down at the two men seated there. "Hello nephew's I can't examine you in here Nico, would you both come out into the living room, and lay him down on the couch so I can do the examination." He tells them with what he hopes is a calming smile, he used his powers to examine the boy before they got out into the living room, he smiled knowing what was wrong with the poor young god, but he would need to do a more thorougher exam of him to work out when he got pregnant, his due date and if there was anything wrong with the baby.

Nico smiled up at Apollo hoping that the laid back way he reacted was a good sign, he stood slowly shaky on his feet, he held onto the sink until the wobbling stabilized, his mind mulling over what Percy had said about the other more likely option, he wondered what it was he had no clue, but he was glad that Percy didn't think it was serious and that he knew what he was thinking because he wouldn't have wanted to keep a secret from Percy. Now that they were together he never wanted them to part because he couldn't live with that even if that meant that Percy knew him better then he knew himself. He held out his hand for Percy to take so that Percy could help him get into the living room he didn't think that his legs would get him there.

Percy stood, wrapping his arms around Nico to steady him and help him into the living room. "Thank you for your help Apollo. I am sorry if we are disrupting you from your family, cousin", he replied, giving him a questioning look. He really hoped his suspicion was right. Percy lead the way as he helped Nico into the Living room, glad that he had already removed the coffee from the room. Percy helped Nico onto the lounge then stepped back to let Apollo closer to him. "Please tell me my suspicion is right, Apollo. That his is something more then a flu and much more special for us."

Apollo moved closer to Nico. "It's fine, I always come when needed my love understands that and so do the kids." He tells him with a beaming grin thinking about his family. "Yes it is much more special for you congratulations, Nico you're pregnant." He examine's Nico's stomach measuring it and using his powers to look at the babies, noticing a slight defect in one of the children he corrects it before measuring and weighting the fetus'. "You are around 3 weeks pregnant and triplets, I suggest eating small amounts over about 6 meals, water and dry crackers help also, it's three identical baby boy's."

"P..P...Pregnat?" Nico stutters out staring at Apollo, before he looks between Percy and Apollo before looking down at his stomach in wonder. He would never had dreamed that they could have a baby together he had thought it impossible, emotions raced through him he was nervous, scared and ecstatic. "A baby." He whispered in an awe filled voice, his hand drifting to his stomach to stroke it gently, before the rest of what Apollo had said sunk in. "T...t...triplets?" He asked in a strangled voice before the feelings overwhelmed him and his eyes slid back in his head and he passed out.

Percy knelt beside Nico when he fainted, running his hands softly through his hair and over the side of his face, "I had hoped he would be happy but I suppose I should have expected shock first. Did Gabriel respond in the same way?", he asked Apollo. "Triplet boys hey? That should fun. Lets hope they haven't got the same knack for trouble as their fathers do", he continued with a smile. He looked forward to raising his sons and just hoped Nico shared his enthusiasm. He hoped Nico didn't hate him for it and didn't end up leaving him over it.

"No, he didn't it was a shock but it wasn't triplets, it was only our one baby Gale." He tells him, with a grin and a wink. "I hope they are way less rambunctious than you, and causes less trouble." He does a few last checks on Nico before pronouncing him and the babies healthy. "Okay, I think I've done all I can for now, just call me if you have any more trouble or concerns you can call me, if he needs to talk to someone who's been through it, Gabe or Iian can help and they won't mind talking about it." He says before disappearing back to his home.

Nico woke slowly, opening his eyes and staring at the ceiling wondering when he had fallen asleep, before the events of the last few minutes caught up with him and he sat up suddenly holding his stomach, still in shock. "Was, was it real?" He asked Percy, reaching out to touch his face his other hand still resting on his still flat belly. "Am I having triplets? Are we having triplets?" He asked still unsure what he was feeling, mainly ecstatic and really scared, what if they hated him, what if Percy would leave him over this? What if they were insane? He knew that the last one was probably not going to happen but he was still scared what if he messed them up he didn't know how to be a father.

Percy thanked Apollo for his help and stayed beside Nico, constantly stroking his hair as he waited for him to wake and wishing he could grab himself some coffee without making Nico sick again. He could see him having to survive with coffee for a while and he wasn't looking forward to the prospect.

Percy was jolted from his thoughts the moment Nico spoke. Percy smiled slightly, not being able to fully contain the happiness he felt at the thought of them both being parents. He nodded slightly, it was the first time in a while that he was scared that he might lose Nico and he wasn't sure what to say. What if Nico didn't want this? What is he hated him for it? He sighed inwardly, "It was real Nico. We are going to have triplets. That is if you want to", he replied. he wanted more then anything for Nico to have the kids but he wouldn't force him to do it and told himself that he would understand if Nico said no, as much as it might break his heart in the process.
