Mackenzie hadn't long arrived at camp, having slipped away from her family on the way.  Since she had arrived she had been doing everything in her power to dodge her stepmother, aunt and uncle, to dodge the trouble she knew she would be in.  She didn't even know where her father was and she hadn't meant to scare them she had just wanted to prove to them that she could in fact look after herself.  She was 15, well it was a technicality, and her father hadn't been much older when he had to look after himself.  She wanted to prove herself and she was alive wasn't she.  She of course wouldn't admit that part of that was due to the help of a couple of hunters.  Mackenzie sighed inwardly, deep down she knew she had been foolish but it had also been fun and know she just at least wanted to find someone she could talk to.

Ali stumbled into a girl with an omph, steadying them both she took a step back with an apologetic grin. "Gosh I'm so sorry." She tells the girl, growling at the forest. "The trees move just to make me lost, I swear one of the gods of the forests has it out for me." She didn't know if it was true or not but it felt true she had lived here for a long time but the forest still got her all turned around. She turned around in a circle slowly trying to figure out which way she had come from and which way she wanted to go before letting out a frustrated huff when nothing looked familiar. She started muttering under her breath feeling when the tattoo's started to move around and move over to her cheek she hoped that it didn't scare the norm.

Mackenzie stumbled slightly when the other girl ran into her. She smiled back at her, "it's okay", she replied, laughing slightly at the comment about the trees. "They always confuse me too and I have been here before. Mind you I was 5 at the time", she replied. "I enjoy it here though...it becomes a challenge to find your way back out again", she continued. When the tattoo moved, Mackenzie thought she was seeing things and did a double take at it, a curious look on her face. The look turned to a grin when she realised she wasn't seeing things, "I love your tattoo. I always wanted one but haven't yet got good enough to even get one of my step mums tribal tattoo's."

"I hate it stupid trees." She says with a sulky pout, she hated getting lost more than anything else. "Ohh thanks I love them, but they are a bit annoying at times because they like to sneak around and away from where I wanted them." She tells her before the mention of tribal tattoo's peaks her interest. "Is your step-mum Sakarra, daughter of Salacia? Cause the little sneak didn't tell me she had a daughter or a step-daughter what ever." She muttered, wondering if she should ask about being good to get a tattoo and then decided that it was too much work.

"Yeah I can see that maybe being a problem", she replied, she had a feeling her not having the tribal tattoo was more to do with her dad then her actually not being good enough for them. "ummm....yes she is", Mackenzie continued, trying to not feel hurt that she had not been mentioned. "I am Mackenzie Leah Daniels, although I suppose it should be Waldeburg-Daniels since my father married Sakarra. Where did you get the tattoo? My father would have a fit if I got one", she replied with a small grin, hoping the older girl would actually tell her. It might be a good thing Sakarra hadn't mentioned her, the other girl would have no reason to know she was technically only 10 this way.

"I'm Ali Bellman, Daughter of Somnus, Legacy of Hypnos and Thanatos, blah blah you know then drill actually my Ex-boyfriend gave them to me, He's the god of Tattoos, Piercings, Gambling and Dying Young." She tells her with a grin, noticing the hurt that the other girl was trying to hide about not being mentioned, she thought of a plausible explanation to why she hadn't mentioned the girl. "She probably just hasn't gotten around to it, I mean I'm not the type of person one wants to introduce to their kids, I'll corrupt them in less time than it takes to tell them my name."

Mackenzie chuckled, "if Sakarra got that vibe from you I am not surprised she didn't mention me. I don't think she is to pleased at my behaviour already and I think she would believe that I don't any more corrupting", Mack replied with a small smirk. "Ohh I am a legacy of Vulcan and Mors. Sorry I am so used to not having to say that one. Do you think I could get a tattoo like that?", she asked her, if her father was around to stop her she was going to take the chance she had to get one.

"Ohh why not?" She asked with a raise of her brow a wide smile on her lips, she loved gossip and corrupting young people. "Interesting, So your father isn't a god?" She questioned her, with a surprised look she had never known that just legacy's were welcome at camp, well you learn something new everyday. "I suppose, how old are you? Cause if you're older than 15 I'll tell you where to find him if he's at camp, if you're under that tell me when you have your birthday and I'll take you to get one but only then okay kiddly-wink?"

Mackenzie chuckled, "I ahh...I may have snuck away from them all on the way to camp to prove a point", Mackenzie replied. "No my father is a son of Mors and my mother was a daughter of Vulcan. My died in the war the destroyed the roman camp and I was aged to 5 by Vulcan when my father was thought to have died there too", she continued a sheepish look on her face. "My age depends on which technicality you want to follow. Technically I have only been alive for 10 years but because I was aged I am 15."

"Ohh you naughty little girl. I like it." She says with a giggle, pushing down the flash of pain that someone cared about Mackenzie like a parent, she had never had that even when she was a child. "Wow,being aged by god and your grandfather at that, huh, I suppose it's good enough but if your parents ask I totally didn't know that you were 15 and that you were technically younger got it kid?" She asks her with a cheeky wink, she was never one for following the rules, because like the saying said, they were made to be broken.

Mackenzie grinned, "yeah, he didn't have time to look after a baby and I don't think he realised how much trouble a 5 year old could cause in a forge", she replied. "You got it, I will warn you though my parents are likely to not like it anyway though", she replied, feeling it only right to warn her even if it met she may not get one after all. Her father was a son on Mors after all and had the temper and skill to go with it. Mackenzie could tell she was going to get along with Ali really well.

"He's silly then, 5 year olds are all sorts of trouble." She said with a chuckle, thinking about all the trouble the young gods got into when they were 5 sometimes so much trouble she didn't want to leave her bunks in case she got roped into something. "I can handle it, and if it gets too bad, I'll get Maddox to have a word with them. He still likes me enough that he'd do it if I asked him." She remarked with a giggle, tapping on the tattoo that made it's way onto her hand with a secretive smile that she only knew what it was about.

Sakarra wanders through the trees, stopping when she hears conversation and she recognizes the two voices. Making her way in that direction, she stops and crosses her arms when she sees her stepdaughter. "What will you get Maddox to have a word about, Ali?" she asks, unable to even be mad at Mackenzie now that she knows she is okay. Granted, she Knew she would be, but it's still better to see her there. Sakarra is smiling in slight amusement; her and Mackenzie have had their differences, but apparently they are similar enough to become friends with the same person. "I hope you aren't planning on getting a tattoo, Kenzie," she adds to the younger girl with a chuckle, "because that will totally ruin ideas for your next birthday on me."

"If your husband goes over board when he finds out that I took her to get a tattoo." She tells her with a lazy smile, not even sorry that she caught her conspiring with Mackenzie. "Speaking on husbands and kids, why didn't you tell me that you had a husband and a rug-rat?" She asks with a pout. "I thought we were friends and it turns out that you have this whole other life I didn't know about, but props for having an interesting kid, that didn't turn out like a norm like her father apparently is. I mean she's 15 high time for a tattoo."

"Ali, you are not taking her to get a tattoo without me! It will always be better if at least one parent is in on it." Sakarra tells her. "And I did briefly mention Jace, but we got so busy talking about tattoos and parents that we never actually got to discuss more about our personal lives for me to bring them up yet." The prophetess makes her way closer to the two of them, "Jace really isn't that bad, though; he just wants Kenzie to be young a while longer." She smiles gently at her stepdaughter, "You're fifteen, but to your dad you're still only ten; but you are old enough to get a tattoo. I would prefer your first tattoo to be tribal and done by the Wise Women, but it's your body and therefore your choice. Just do't go behind my back about it, because I Know even before you know you're going to do something and I would hate to have to ground you."
