Jace watched her and winced when she hit the wall. He moved to sit on the bead beside her and carefully took her hand in is. He carefully felt at her fingers and knuckles, using his second hand to hold her hand at the wrist and keep her from pulling it back. "I know you wont go see a doctor with this but will you let me strap it for you so you at least wont hurt it further in training. I think you have a couple of broken or fractured bones in your hand", he replied, pulling some bandages out of his pocket.

He looked at her with a small smirk on his face and shrugged slightly. "If you would believe it I think Kenzie was even more accident prone then we where", he replied. He let go of her wrist to wrap the bandage properly. He let out a sigh slightly and looked at her, "I know I haven't been there but there is something up Anna and...well if you need to talk about it I am here", he replied, finishing with the bandage and waiting to see if she would let him use it.

Amma tensed her hand a few times, it was sore but it was bearable enough for her to use it. "I...I." She said taking a deep breath and standing up pacing back and forth she thought about Lily, and how she had broken her heart. "I, a week ago I walked in on my girlfriend of ten years sleeping with another person. She told me that, it had been going on for 5 years when I was away." She brushed away a few tears away, taking a seat next to him. "I...She was never faithful to me, she was cheating on me the whole time we were together. I was so blind. How could I almost propose to her when she has been cheating on me the whole time?" She asked before burying her head into his shoulder and sobbing loudly finally letting it all out with someone there to comfort her.

"Why? Am I a monster? Do I not deserve love? Why is it always me who doesn't get love? Don't I deserve it, after everything I've been through, after everything He did to me don't I deserve to have some peace and happiness?" She asked looking up at him with tear filled eyes.

Jace just held her for a moment as he worked past his anger at the girl and out their pathetic excuse of a stepfather, for making his sister feel this way. He felt mostly responsible for what their stepfather had done to her, knowing he should have been able to stop it and that his mother would have expected him to. He took a few deep breathes before meeting his sisters eyes. "Love isn't easy to find. I know it's hard but you will find happiness, it just may take a while to find the right one. People can be hard to read, especially people like us", he held her why she cried not sure what else to say to her but he knew if he ran into this Lily he would have a few things to say to her.

"Maybe, or maybe I'm just destined to never have anyone." She said wiping away her tears with a sad smile. "It's life I guess." She moved away from him and the comfort that he offered, she felt like she didn't deserve it.

"I'll make my life dedicated to Artemis, she at least won't let me down, not like her." She said, making a fist with her hand before letting it go. "Besides, it's safer that way, no more getting my heart broken. I can't go through that again, I'm never going to go through that again. No way, I'm not strong enough. I don't think I'd survive it a second time."

Jace sighed inwardly when she moved away from him and shifted to kneel on the floor in front of her so he could meet her eyes and she could see the truth of his words in them. "If you don't think you can love again, then that is fine. So long as you remember that none of this is or ever will be your fault. That there are people out there who just don't deserve to live let alone be given your trust. Anyone who knows you knows who sweet and caring you, Anna. Also, no matter how much we fight I will always be standing at your side when you need me. Losing those we love, or even think we love hurts more then anything, but there are times when we have to stand tall and not give up on the rest of humanity because of it."

Anastasia stood dusting off her pants she didn't know what to say back to Jace. She was glad that he felt that way. "I don't know if I can, I'm not giving up on the rest of humanity I just don't want to let anyone that close again, but I shall try if you wish it it might take me a long time but I shall try if you want." She says, grabbing her bow, quiver and sword. "Come on lets go attack some things it will make me feel better and give us some bonding time, unless you have something else you need to do?"
