Kainda sighed but nodded to her sister. "I suppose your right", she replied. She froze slightly when she saw something from the corner of her eye over near the bushes and called forward her powers hoping she was seeing things and wondering how she could have missed it before. All around the edges of the clearing there where signs of humans tramping around and what had daughter her attention had been a boot print. She wasn't sure what was going on but something didn't seem right. She let her powers fade again and shifted just slightly closer to her sister. It was then that she noticed the other sounds of the forest sounded further away then normal but she could hear the sounds of some twigs breaking as if underfoot from in front of them. There are hunters around. I think we should scare them off, she thought to her sister, stepping forward before she could stop her. She wanted to get to some trees so she could try and blend in and scare then as they came closer. She moved slowly so as not not make a noise.

They don't smell like hunters. Kacela tells her, moving after her watching all around them as she sniffed the air using her powers there was something off about the smell of the 'hunters'. We need to get out of here, I have a really bad feeling about this, they don't smell like any other hunters, they smell like solders. She says her voice cuts of a moment after she felt a sting in her neck she pulled out a dart from her neck looking at it. "RUN!." She screamed at her sister, half transforming into a tiger running at the men who stood in front of her sisters escape way. She malled the two right in front of her, before swaying on her feet.

Kacela shook her head trying to clear the fog that had started in it. "Run!" She yells at her sister attacking two on the left of her before being hit with another two darts she yowled hissing at the them tearing the throat out of one of the guys before slashing the other with her claws. She attacks the next one feeling the toxin that had been in darts start to take effect feeling her reaction time slowing before her eyes slipped closed and she fell to the ground. Weakly trying to get up and tried in vane to open her eyes before she slipped into unconsciousness.

Kainda watched partly in horror as her sister took on the men. She felt a couple of things bounce off her skin and didn't undderstand why until she noticed her skin now showed the same hardness of the bark of a tree. It was the second time her sister yelled run that it got through to her, a few trees blocking the path she took. She felt like a coward but she knew she couldn't do much to help her sister. She felt the tears stinging her eyes at the thought of leaving her behind. She ran down the path but before to long she could hear the sound of people pursuing her and she put on more speed but didn't pay enough attention to where she was going and stopped before another group of the men. She went to turn around to see the others catch up. She felt a couple more of the darts bounce off her before one found the soft part under her wrist and another the palm of her hand. "What do you want with us?", she asked the men as her voice cracked with fear. She fell to her knees as she pulled out the darts. She wasn't surprised when she got no answer. Before she lost consciousness she managed to send a private thought to her parents but wasn't sure if they would hear her or not.

Kacela woke slowly letting out a moan of pain trying to move her hands she realized that they were strapped down which made her wake fully in seconds she looked around in shock she was in a strange white room which was covered in medical equipment she let out a frightened whimper pulling at the binds on her wrists trying to use her powers to leave the room but it wouldn't work. She let out a annoyed huff, how did they know how to stop her powers? She turned to the other side realizing that her sister was here.

Kacela had thought Kainda had gotten away, she was unable to stop her scared tears from running down her cheeks she wanted her mummies and to get away she didn't want to be here. Mummy, Mama, HELP, MUMMY, MAMA, HELP! She called out with her mental voice hoping that they would be able to hear her and come for her, for them for both of them she knew that she would never leave without having Kainda with her wouldn't happen And she knew that her mothers wouldn't leave one of them here but if someone else came to help she wouldn't leave her sister. Mummy. Mama, Help! MUMMY, MAMA, HELP!

Kainda woke slowly, letting out a scared whimper when she realised she couldn't move her arms or legs or just disappear from the room. Her memories came back to her slowly as she looked around the room and saw her sister there two. She felt tears flow from her eyes and tried to call to their mothers for help. She looked at her sister, "I'm sorry, Kace. This is all my fault", she thought to her. Wishing for the first time ever that she hadn't walked off. That she had stayed where she was meant to be. "I'm sorry for leaving you back there. I shouldn't have ran", she continued, feeling like a coward for her actions but wishing she had at least been able to get to their parents. She knew how worried they would be and that they would be looking for them with everything they could until they where found. She hoped that didn't take long cause she didn't like it here. The equipment in the room scared her and she didn't know why they where here and felt guilty that she was glad her sister was here too. At least they still had each other. Kainda froze when she heard the door open and someone walked in.

It's okay, It's not your fault we should have been safe, and I told you to run, I just wish you had managed to get away. Kacela tells her mentally still repeating her plea for her mothers as the door is pushed open and the person enters she snarls at the woman, she was a slender red headed woman with lab coat on she headed over towards a tray filled with syringes.

"Good you're awake, time to start the tests." She says, with an evil smirk picking up a syringe she squirted some of the liquid out before heading over to them. "Which one first? Hmm you or you?"

She walks closer to Kainda getting ready to plunge the needle into her. "ME DO ME!" She yelled at her tugging on the binds trying to get her attention, she would go through anything just so her sister didn't have to go through it. 

"Aww you care." She said walking over to Kacela before injecting the serum into her shoulder, Kacela gritted her teeth with the pain that came and the coolness was injected into her arm. She started to feel a fire radiating from the injection site, she clenched her jaw tighter before she was unable to help but give a scream writhing on the table she tried to keep from showing the pain because she didn't want her sister to worry. 

Kainda screwed her eyes shut when the when walked towards her with the needle. "No...no leave her alone", she cried when she heard and sisters yell and then watched as the needle was given to her sister. She saw her sister writhing on the table and felt just a little bit of her pain through their bond.

She was about to speak again when the woman turned to her, "don't worry little one you will get your turn soon", she said and Kainda didn't like the evil glint in her eyes as she watched the two of them. After a moment she turned to what appeared to be a wall, "We will need a stronger batch. I say we try the first one. These gods appear more resilient then the demigods." The woman then turned back to them and walked towards Kainda. The door opened and someone else walked in, handing the woman a vile before walking back out. The woman picked up another syringe and injected the contents of the vial into the syringe and letting a little bit out. Kainda struggled against the bindings again knowing it was no use though. She looked over at her sister as the woman held her down and injected the syringe I to her shoulder and walked away from her again. Kainda instantly felt the burn in her should that was slowly spreading further in the body. She whimpered at the pain but refused to give the woman the satisfaction of hearing her scream.
