Jace smiled at Thys before returning his attention to Cassandra. "Hey", he replied to him. He had to admit to himself that part of him was itching to do something. To work out what or if being a God had changed his capabilities, but he also was enjoying just watching Cassandra. He shifted to pick up the little girl and settled her in his lap. He shrugged slightly, "Or I could watch them for a while and you could take a bit of a break", he suggested. "I can always head down to the Arena later or just leave it for a day. It's not as though it would reall hurt", he continued. If he was being honest with himself, he had been hiding from his feelings in being gone so early and staying so long down there anyway. He didn't think it was the time to tell that to Thys though. Thys wanted to take things slow and he didn't want to push him on that. He had hurt him a lot and he knew that. If he could change everything over the past few weeks he would. He would have been there for Thys so much more then he had been.

Thys smiled at the thought of time to himself but if he was honest he wouldn't know what to do with himself if he wasn't looking after the kids, probably dwell on his relationship with Jace or what they were doing and if they were okay. "Or how about we all stay here and just chill? I mean we haven't done that in ages and I think it'll be fun. Or I can go do something if you want to have the kids to yourself for a bit." Thys says, thinking about it for a moment he did want stay and just soak up being around Jace and the kids, it had been so long since he could just spend time with Jace without feeling like he would disappear the next second to train or look after the kids to avoid being alone with him. "I mean, I'll let you look after them and just lay around it sounds amazing."

Jace was of course happy for Thys to stay. If he was to be honest he was nervous about looking after the kids on his own anyway. "I am happy to just stay here if you like or another option is that we could all go somewhere as a family", he suggested, hoping that he wasn't being to forward. "We could take them out of camp even", he suggested further. As far as he was aware, they hadn't seen anything out side of it yet and it could be fun to take them out to a park or something. Being a god did give them the option to travel at a thought after all, he would just have to learn how to control it.

Thys thought about it for a moment before deciding. "You know what that sounds wonderful, maybe we can get them some new clothes and such they are getting a little bigger now and the stuff that they have is starting to get tight." Thys says happy thinking about going out as a family they hadn't been anywhere as a family apart from that one picnic that had ended in an argument he just hoped that this outing went smoother than the picnic. "You choose where we should go, I'll start packing all the things that the kids will need." He says, getting up from the bed and stretching before moving around collecting the things that they would need for an outing.

Jace thought on a place to go as Thys got the kids ready and once they where already to go, Jace refused to even tell Thys where they where going. He held their sons as Thys held their daughter and the bag and simply asked if Thys trusted him and motioned with his head for Thys to place a hand on his shoulder. He then focused on the place he wanted to go and though it took a moment, he felt the change to sand under his feet. He had decided on this place after searching his memories. It was one of his earliest memories coming here with his mother. He wasn't sure exactly what beach it was anymore but he remembered how beautiful it had been and the sight didn't disappoint. The waves where rolling in their where birds in the sky. Behind the where a few small shops. Not much in the way of shopping but there was a fish and chip shop that offered the freshest fish.

"There is t much really here in the way of shopping here but I figure we can go somewhere else for that. My mum brought me here once. I think I was four" he said. He was well aware that he had never really spoken that much about his mother or really any of his past to Thys and every little to even his wife.

"I trust you." Thys tells him, looking around the beach it was amazing. "I love it." He says, placing the bag down and putting a blanket down before he placed Catherine down on the blanket pulling his t-shirt over his head before playing with their daughter. "That's fine, later is fine. I'm glad that you feel able to bring us here and share this with us."

Catherine stared to make grabby hands at her brothers wanting to play. "Put the boy's down and we can snuggle while they play." He tells him with a cheeky grin, looking back at the shops hoping that they were tolerant because he didn't want to have to stifle his feeling and touching Jace and having fun with him and the kids.

Jace smiled slightly and shrugged after placing the boys down beside their sister. "Well I figure I have known bits about your past for a while now but I have really shared things about my own before", he replied as he took a seat in the sand beside the rug. "And I have been a bit of a jerk recently. Maybe this might make up for some of that", he continued. He hoped that it would. He hated that he had created distance in what had been happening between them but it was the cards he dealt and he would know deal with the hand he had.

"It more than makes up for it." Thys tells him, pouting as he sat so far away but he moved so that his head was laying in Jace's lap. He smiled up at him but inside he was a ball of nerves worried that he might push him away like he had done before but we was willing to give Jace another chance. He just hoped that Jace wouldn't break his heart again because he knew that he would not be able to handle that. "So long as you're not going to do it again I can forgive you but only once."

Jace leant down to kiss him. There was passion in the kiss but only a fraction of what Jace wanted to show him. He didn't want to push Thys further away by moving to fast. "Breaking your hear was one of the hardest things I have done", he admitted. "In making the decision I had to crush my own but I knew that choice was still going to be better then watching you die because of me. I know that it was maybe unlikely but it wasn't something i could have risked even if I do regret my stupidity now", he continued truthfully. "I promise that you won't regret this second chance though." He pictured that comment by kissing and softly nipping Thys' neck.

"I hope so, or else I'm gone." Thys said, hoping that Jace wasn't scared off about him saying that because he really wanted it to work again. "Let's get out of here, we'll put the kids to bed and then get to know each other again."

Thys kissed him back wondering it maybe Jace didn't want to take things further because he kept pulling back before it could go any further than kissing and it was sweet to begin with but it was starting to make him doubt that Jace really wanted him and he didn't want to make waves but he also wanted to know that Jace felt desirable. "Do you want me ? Do you find me desirable?" Thys asked, turning to look away so that he wasn't facing Jace because he didn't know if he could deal with it if Jace said no.

He knew that they had been over it before but he needed to hear Jace say it again and he hoped that Jace wouldn't get mad at his constant need to be told that Jace wanted him and his kids.

Jace did like the sound of going home and getting to Thys better but he wasn't sure if Thys was doing it because he felt he should or because he actually wanted to. His insecurities only raised more worries on this in Jace who had been about to carefully stand and sort out the kids.

Jace sighed as Thys looked away from him. "I do want you Thys. I just don't want to push you past what you are ready for because.....well, after everything else, I can't lose you know too." He nearly didn't say the last bit but he knew he needed to be honest. Thys needed to know the truth or he would continue to think it was because otherwise it was likely he would continue to believe that Jace didn't desire him.

Jace carefully took one of Thys' hands in his own and placed it against his crotch. "That is all on you", she stated. "Rest assured that I do desire you."

Thys blushed brightly when he felt Jace's hardness. He looked down and away happy that Jace did desire him. "I might be rushing it a bit but, I wouldn't let you push me I know better than that because I know that it would make you feel bad and that's the last thing that I want to do to you." He says, looking up at Jace again hoping that Jace knew that Thys knew his mind and wouldn't do anything to their relationship to endanger it. Their relationship meant so much to him the most important thing after only their babies. "But I'm willing to wait until you are more confident that you aren't pushing me." He tells him with an honest smile he didn't want to make Jace uncomfortable.

Part of Jace felt like he should give the more time as the first thing that Thys said ran through his mind again. That admission that he might be rushing a bit but Jace also knew that he couldn't have a relationship without trust and it also seemed that Thys was asking him to trust that he did know what he was doing. For once in their relationship Jace decided to chuck caution to the wind and he shook his head in response to Thys' final statement. Besides, he figured if Thys did happen to change his mind, they could always stop. He cupped Thys face and kissed him. "This isn't about how I feel Thys. I know what I want but I just want to be sure that you do too. This is what I want Thys. Us...you and everything that goes along with it."

"I'm glad that you feel that way, I didn't know if I could have, stayed with you if you couldn't trust me to know my own mind." Thys tells him, kissing him again and snuggling closer feeling happy and relaxed that Jace trusted him to know his own mind. It had always felt like Jace didn’t think that he could know his own mind and needed to make decisions for them both without consulting Thys which always made him feel that he wasn’t equal in their relationship that Jace had all the control. The concession of Jace trusting him showed him how much Jace had relaxed he knew that a few weeks ago he would have done what he thought was right for them both without trusting Thys to know what he needed or wanted. “I really love you.” He says after he pulled himself from his thoughts because he knew how much Jace wanted to protect him but the fact that he was trusting Thys was a big step and Thys was glad that he had taken the step.

Thys' comment made Jace realise that he really need to stop taking the control so much between them. He had to stop being to protective of Thys. He knew that it wasn't going to be easy for him to stop but if he didn't he might lose Thys and the kids. With a thought he had them all home, though he glanced around to make sure the kids were safely in their cribs before he turned his attention back to Thys.

"I love you too Thys. More then you know." The second sentence was more more breathed and he wasn't even sure if Thys would hear it. He slipped his shirt off and moved over Thys, kissing him deeply for a moment before breaking the kiss and moving down Thys' chest. "Remember we can stop at any time you want. Just tell me', he commented. He nipped and licked at the skin of Thys' chest as he spoke. He stopped to tease his nipples for a moment before moving lower.

His eyes found Thys' as he played with the button on Thys' pants to ensure that he was still with him.
