Proserpina hadn't been this happy in years as she stepped foot of the little white boat onto the rustic personal pier she had guided them to on her island home. She hadn't been back to the place in years and to bring her love, Eva, here was almost more than she could stand. Even as the goddess of Spring and growth, she hadn't felt this alive in a long time. She could tell, this was the place for them to get back to where they were when they fell in love. If it saved their relationship, they would never have to leave. She reached back behind her to hold out her hand to help Eva out of the boat and onto the dock. She grinned at her love, hoping that hoping Eva loved this place as much as she did.

Eva looked around in wonder, it was amazing, she hadn't even thought that it could be this beautiful. "It's stunning." She tells her, before hugging her tightly, a large smile on her face it was stunning. She wanted to never leave, even though she knew that she had to leave because she would go mad with nothing to do, but if they got their relationship back on track she wouldn't mind staying for a few months even a year. "Well come on then show me around I want to see everything, and can we go snorkelling later? The water looks stunning you can see the bottom it's amazing."

Proserpina chuckled, "Snorkeling? We can go snorkeling if you want, but keep in mind you can breath underwater!" She teased, hugging her back tightly, leading her towards the shore. There was a walkway that led up through the rocky shore and to a white stone house on a small cliff. She had built it as a young goddess, staking claim to her island and her home. "Just wait until you see the view from up there, it's gorgeous and perfect for watching the sun rise in the morning." She sighed in contentment as she gazed up at her home in happiness.

Eva blushed having forgotten that she could now breath underwater it hadn't been something that she used often and forgot about it all the time. "I would love to go without the snorkels then." She tells her with a giggle, following her gazing at the rising cliff in front of her with a awed look, the house looked stunning. "It all looks so amazing, I can't wait to see the view, does our bedroom get the sunrise does it?" She asked, before biting her lip and looking away unsure if Proserpina would want to share a room or if they should, she didn't want them to just slip back into the same rutine that they had had for years. "I, I don't want to sleep alone, I find it hard to sleep without you beside me but please don't think that it will get us out of talking and working out our issues because it won't I…We can't just slip back into the same routine because before too long the routine will kill our relationship and too loose you will kill me."

Proserpina looked baffled, "What are you talking about? Of course you won't sleep alone. This is about us coming back together, not separating further. We've taken a great step forward but that would be two giant steps back." She hugged Eva tightly, "OUR room gets a wonderful view of the sunset. And we can start talking about how we want to work through some of our issues over dinner." She grinned, "But right now, I have a whole island behind me that I want to show you." She turned and started tugging Eva towards the shore with her. "Come on now, if we hurry we can make it to the butterfly grove in time to see them! Best part of being the goddess of spring, butterflies ALL THE TIME!"

"Butterfly's really?" She asked with a wide smile, she adored butterflies they were her favourite thing. "It sounds wonderful, I can't wait to see the sunset." She tells her with another smile, just being here made her feel happier and less stressed. "Well lead the way then to the butterflies I can't wait to see them." She couldn’t wait to talk to her about everything but she knew that she didn't want to rush Proserpina knowing that she liked to do things in her own time, and seeing the butterflies would be an amazing way to pass the time till dinner and sunset. Hopefully just doing things together again would help them reconnect.

Proserpina happily led Eva up the shoreline until they hit a grove of trees. She found her familiar path through the dense trees and headed down it. "It's just this way love. We should be just in time to see them take slight. There aren't many places in the world where you could see something like this. And certainly not year round." She looked over her shoulder to wink at Eva, "Goddess perks, yeah?" She laughed and slowed at they approached the grove. She pointed through the trees so Eva could see where they were headed.





The butterflies hung from the trees like leaves, their fluttering the only indication they weren't.

Eva let out a exclamation of joy looking at them. "There's so many." She says stunned, she hadn't thought that it would be so loaded with them. "It's amazing." She tells her feeling overwhelmed by the beauty of the grove. She moved closer and stood beside Proserpina wrapping her arm around her leaning her head on Proserpina's shoulder, not knowing why but wanting to be close to her at this moment, it seemed like this would be the prefect place for them to reconnect. She let out another happy sound as some of them took flight and moved towards her and landed on her nose, she let out another giggle when it landed.
