"Sounds good I'll pick you up around 6? That way we have time to talk?" He asked, his hands moving restlessly at his side. He gave him another smile before, it turned into a frown his hand came up to rub at his temple as his eyes closed of their own accord and a wide range of possible futures flashed across his mind, he guessed it was his own fault for interrupting the flow and wanting to have his lover sooner. He sighed and took a step back, he couldn't do this now unless he wanted something horrible to happen to Atticus, but he could still be his friend.

He gave him a pained smile, before cheering slightly with the thought that he and Atticus could form a strong foundation on which to build a relationship.

Atticus had been about to reply when he saw the gods hand move to the side of his head and a frown crossed his face. When the god created some distance between them and showed him a pained smile, he felt his heart drop. He could tell something was up. "Are you okay Zeus", he asked, concerned for the god. "It doesn't have to be tonight if something is wrong", he continued. He caught the slightly happier look on the gods face and felt confused, which he was sure would show on his face. He couldn't but look over the god again and still wondered why he would want him anyway.

"No, tonight's fine, I just, I can't start a relationship..." His voice trails off another frown crossing his face, he sighed moving closer he cupped his cheek. "I would love nothing more in the word than to start a relationship with you at this time, but if I do, Hera will come and kill you and I cant't let that happen so, I think we should just be friends for now, because as hard as it will be to resist your charms, I couldn't live with you being killed." He tells him, looking into his eyes hoping that he saw the truth, and didn't think he was blowing him off. "You are so kind and compassionate and selfless and I can't be the one that causes you to die, I just can't because I would never fully be able to love again, because of what you mean to me."

Atticus met the gods eyes. He could see the truth behind his words but he found he didn't really care. "I am not scared of Hera. I know I probably should be due to your history and all that, but I am not. The future isn't written in stone after all", he replied. He moved closer to the god so their was barely any space between them. "I think I am selfless, but you would put aside your own happiness for me. I am far from selfless, I looked after my sister so I didn't have to deal with losing everything I once loved. Besides, if its my life on the line, shouldn't it be my choice. I am not without my own tricks after all." His eyes never left Zeus' as he spoke and his hand moved up to rest on the one on his cheek.  "Besides, you could save he from Hera this week, only for me to die in a monster attack in the next.  If there is one thing I have realized over my life is to take the chances you have, because you don't know when they could be your last.  I know I sound selfish, but we both know it is also the truth."

“Yeah I guess you make a good point.” He tells him wrapping his arms around him, kissing him gently. “Is it really bad that I want to take you home now?” He asks before reluctantly taking a step back and pushing his hands into his back pockets trying to resist the urge to kiss him again and then take him home with him now, he didn’t want to do that because he didn’t want to rush him. “If you are sure that you want to do this then I will abide by your wishes and be with you while trying my hardest to keep you safe.”

Atticus kissed him back, a smile gracing his face, "I would be tempted to let you if I didn't need better clothes for our date", he replied honestly, watching Zeus. Atticus nodded, "I am sure. Against my better judgement I seem to have fallen for a god I have barely met", he continued with a small smirk. He closed the space between the and kissed him again. "I have a feeling I won't regret it though", he whispered. He pulled back from Zeus before he could give in to the temptation of just going with him now. He wanted to make a impression with the god and didn't think his very faded jeans and slightly frayed to-shirt would give the right one.

“Ohh, I think you look delectable in what you are wearing, you don’t have to go and buy anything special trying to impress me I love you just the way you are.” He tells him with a smile, tugging on the edge of the shirt. “If it’s really a problem then I can take you shopping this afternoon, I have nothing else to do and I would like to spoil you. Because you don’t need to impress me, I’ve seen how you protect your sister and there is nothing more important to me than how you treat your family.”

Atticus sighed inwardly, knowing he was being stupid. "I'm sorry, I suppose I am just feeling a little insecure", he replied. "I will be fine, it's just nerves I suppose. Besides I am sure there is more fun things we could be doing then going clothes shopping for me", he replied. "I mean we could always grab lunch somewhere too", he replied, half hoping that Zeus would take him somewhere else then camp to for it. After all he wasn't sure he wanted the other campers staring at him and Zeus when he was only hoping it would all work out.

"I don't have anything more fun to do than clothes shopping, come on we will go to lunch and then go shopping, London, Paris, New York, all none?" He asks wrapping an arm around him while he waited for his reply, he would do what Atticus wanted but he was looking forward to having time with Atticus and spoiling him, he knew he had had a hard life so far and wanted to do something nice for him. "Come on let me treat you, you know you want too, besides I want to see you in a lot of different clothes to figure out what looks best on you."

Atticus didn't respond for a while. he had become so used to looking after himself and his sister that it was hard for him to accept help from anyone though he got the impression that Zeus wasn't going to take no for an answer. "okay. I will take you up on that. So long as I don't have to have fish eggs or anything like that for lunch", he replied, being unsure where they would be having lunch after all. "Can't say I can even really offer suggestions there. I generally just stick to Jeans and T-shirts", he continued, though it was mainly because that was all he could get in the end and they generally fair better anyway.

"I'm glad you agreed because I'm not above kidnapping you." He says with a wink, wrapping an arm around him now that he had given in he saw no reason not to keep him close. He breathed In his scent thinking on his words, before answering. "Well we can discover what looks good on you together, and get you some more jeans and tops along with anything else you and I like, there are so many more clothes than just jeans and T-shirts and I would be honoured to show them all to you and learn more about you as we go."

"I figured you where only asking out of nicety. That sounds more like what I have heard about the gods", he teased. He made no move to remove himself from Zeus embrace. "The rest of this just feels to much like a dream though." He shifted to face Zeus and before the god could react he quickly kissed him. He seemed to think for a moment as he pulled back, "nope seems real enough, even if hard to believe", get stated playfully. "So long as you don't try and get me in a dress we are all good and there really isn't so much to know about me really."

"I wouldn't try to do that, though a nice short dress would show off your legs." He teases him with a smile, grabbing him and pulling him closer. "On second thoughts I think we should just go now." He say before disappearing with him in his arms, appearing in his house he walked over to the cupboard grabbing out a pair of slacks and a tasteful top he used his powers to switch them on Atticus' body before he disappeared them both again, this time to New York into the back of a uptown store. Zeus had been fond of what Atticus had been wearing but knew that he would get strange looks dressed like that in this store so he wanted to save him from embarrassment. He walked out taking Atticus along with him. "Marko where are you?" He called as he walked, Marko was one of the best designers he had ever met and bought most of his things from him but he wanted to see what he thought would suit Atticus.

"Zeus, back so soon?" He asked with a coy smile coming out from his workshop grinning when he saw the older man, he walked closer walking around both of them he took everything in, he was a small sprite of a man with light blond hair and Caucasian features and stunning light blue eyes. "And who is this stunning creature? The reason you never gave me a change when I was single?" 

"In fact he was, but he is in dire need of a new wardrobe, I wanted to give you the first stab at dressing him before...." He said trailing off with a smirk.

"Don't speak that name or I'll kick you out." He threatened with a hidden smile, he would dress Zeus' man, he had never in all the years he'd known him seen him looking quite as content at he did when he looked at the man that Zeus held in his arms, he was happy for his friend he deserved it. "Okay up." He said grabbing hold of Atticus and pulling him towards the platform in the middle of the room. "Strip, down to your underwear if you please," He says looking way. "Some nice slacks, button ups, jeans, underwear." He muttered to himself walking away in search of something. 

Zeus smiled at Atticus before taking a seat in one of the chairs provided ready to watch the show. 

"You might be right but these legs aren't for showing", he replied with a smile as he was pulled closer. The next while was a blur to Atticus and before he could really work out what was going on properly he was in a designer shop with the god. He was wearing Zeus' clothes and he half wondered if Zeus was ashamed of him after all. He pushed that thought aside as he took in again where he was. Surely he wouldn't be spending this sort of money if that was true.

It was then that he realized he had been given directions and he paled slightly at the thought of stripping down to his underwear in front to the man and he did hardly know the god to. For but a moment he thought of running. This day was starting to become to much for him and almost like an elaborate dream and something a monster might pull of if he wanted to confuse him. But surely a monster would have killed him when he had a chance. Something told him he could trust 'Zeus' and it was only that that kept him there.

He wasn't sure how long he had taken but he finally headed to where he had been told to stand and took of the borrowed shirt and pants, folding them neatly before he placed them aside, aware that they probably cost more then he had ever had since he had lost his mother.

Zeus watched Atticus as Marko fluttered around grabbing things before placing them back and grabbing something else. He finally arrived in front of Atticus with a armful of things. "Okay try them on now." He tells him placing them on a chair next to the stage, motioning Atticus to try them on.

Zeus walked over to the pile checking what Marko had put down giving it back to Marko it would not be any good for Atticus. He then passed over a pair of jeans and a button up purple top and a black tie to Atticus, he thought it would look flattering.
