Basic info:
Full Name:
Bellona
, Nickname: Belli
Age:
Old
Face claim: Elizabeth Olsen
Roman Goddess of War
Personality: Slow to anger, but intense and vengeful once she is. She can be your best friend one minute and want to destroy your whole world the second. A hidden powerhouse and a little bit crazy.
Background: Was at one point Ares' right hand, but when destroying cities became a lesser practice in war,
they drifted apart and she became more of a radical goddess, more associated with extremists than with war, but she doesn't like this association and it trying to move away from that particular image, and reform her significance to signify domination and/or conquering, particularly in the feminist movement, becoming a sort of patron of the modern woman and their rise in the corporate world, instead of complete destruction and the whole "Leveler of Cities" image.
Example of Belli: Bellona sat at the bar, watching the woman across the room that she'd been following for awhile. It'd probably be creepy if any of them realized it, but hey, being a goddess had some perks, yeah? This woman was an up and comer, gunning for CEO of a quickly rising company. But she'd had a weak moment today, broke down when her mother called and asked if she had a date for her brothers wedding. So here she was, sloshed and wreaking of desperation. Bellona sighed, oh what she did for these mortals. She walked across the room, using a little of her influence to strike up an argument between the man her charge had been chatting up and the man next to him. Using this distraction, she coaxed the woman off her bar stool and out the bar, into an eagerly awaiting cab. She watched it disappear into the distance as she lit up a cigarette.
Note: Bellona keeps up a front even with the other gods and goddesses because she was discarded by them when her mode of operation became outdated. She feels they betrayed her, and that's partly why she turned to helping humans, particularly woman due to her connection with Ares, succeed in their own world, as opposed to continuing to advance the gods position. As a lower goddess of war, she feels the way many demi gods do towards the god and therefore has never had her own demi god children.
