Gale awoke with a blush.  His dreams since he had been aged had often lead to this.  Where he had thought of Dakota has a older brother before he was now starting to realize that he had different feelings for him.  Hearing footsteps heading for his room, Gale quickly left the house.  He wasn't sure where he was going until he looked around and was thankful that it still appeared that the demigods had yet to find this little beach.  His clothes quickly changed from his sleep shorts into boards shorts and he summoned some sunscreen as he sat on the rocks.  Apply the stuff as he thought for a moment and looked out over the water.  He knew that Dakota would find him here.  The two had been here more then once already.

Dakota appeared in the water near the beach watching Gale for a moment before he walked out of the water dressed in board shorts and no top. He walked towards Gale with a frown on his face, he wondered why Gale had ran from him before, he didn't like it Gale was supposed to run to him not from him. He took a seat behind him taking the sunscreen and applying it to his back before wrapping an arm around him and pulling him closer till Gale sat in his lap. "Why did you run?" He asked softly into his ear, holding him tight so he couldn't leave without taking him with him. "You should never run from me, I would never hurt you why did you run?" His tone sounded hurt as he asked the last sentence.

Gale saw Dakota appear and for a moment many different possibilities of how the afternoon could go played in his mind, many of which made him blush slightly. He muttered a thank you as Dakota rubbed the sunscreen into his back and snuggled closer to him as he pulled him into his arms and onto his lap. "I am sorry, Kota. I wasn't sure it was you", he replied truthfully. "I know you wouldn't hurt me and I didn't mean to hurt you." He paused for a moment assessing the possibilities again.

"I..." He cleared his throat trying to get rid of his nerves before trying again. "I know you love me Kota and I also know that I love you too I just don't know if dad has seen that yet and I really didn't want to answer his questions if he had." Gale had accidentally aged himself the week before and was still trying to get used to all the changes in his body and the strength of his powers now which had matured quickly with him. He lifted his head to look Kota in the eyes and see what he was thinking.

Dakota let out a little chuckle nodding. "I can understand that, but next time use your powers to reach out and see who it is before bolting okay? I let horrible when you ran from me, even if it wasn't me you were trying to run from." He tells him hugging him tighter and giving him a soft kiss on the neck before nipping at the skin and standing with him still in his arms heading towards the water, he wanted to cease taking about feelings and have some fun he may be older now but it didn't mean that he was any better at talking about his feelings than he had been before. "I do love you." He tells him almost as an afterthought.

Gale felt a shiver go down his spine as Dakota kissed and nipped his neck and grinned as Dakota acknowledged what he had said. "I am sorry Dakota. I will try to remember to work out who is coming next time. I am still getting used to the change in strength with my powers since I was aged", he replied honestly. He jumped from Dakota's arms and ran towards the water. He knew still knew that Dakota hating talking about his feelings and wanted to help him feel more at ease. "Isn't it great. We are going to have little sister's to look after soon", he replied. Being the youngest of them Gabe was excited.

Dakota grinned, shaking his head at Gale. "Good that's all I ask." He tells him with a grin, before running after him and grabbing him around the middle picking him up as he walked deeper into the water. "Yeah it is cool, just so long as I don't have to change nappies I'm cool with it. Two isn't it? Payton and Phrine?" He asks feeling bad that he couldn't really remember what Gabe had said about the kids, He dumped him into the water with an evil smirk, Gale should have known better then to go into the water it was Dakota's territory.

"I agree....we can leave diaper duty to Danielle though", he replied with a grin, struggling in Dakota's which only assisted in getting him dumped under the waves when Dakota finally let him go. He resurfaced with a pout, glad that he had had enough sense to not breath in the water though. He brushed his wet hair out of his eyes as he watched his friend. Though Gabriel was no longer sure if they where just friends or something more after his acknowledgement. "What are you going to do now that your parents are back?", he asked, feeling bad about bringing things back to a serious topic again. He hoped that Dakota wouldn't leave him.

"Nothing, I don't care about them they mean nothing to me. I have your parent's thats enough I don't need them." He tells him, he knew that it was in Gale's nature to bring up serious things so he couldn't fault him. He moved closer and took hold of him again knowing that if he had to talk about them. "I want to be in a family with you, and your parents. They weren't there when I needed them and I don't need them now. Can we be a family? I'd like to be a family? Can we be a family?"

Gale smiled slightly at him, "us being a family is certainly a possibility I would love to explore", he replied, with a large grin. "You don't think you should give them a chance though?", he asked softly. He knew he was pushing a hard subject and should probably stop. "Dad told me why Poseidon has been the way he was. With out him we would likely all either be dead or enslaved to the titans." He stopped for a moment as he thought over how to put what he still wanted to say. "It is your decision though and I will support what you want there", he continued. He wrapped his arms around him and placed a kiss on his check before hiding his bluish against Dakota's chest.

Dakota let out a groan dropping his head onto Gale's shoulder a smile playing on his lips at Gale's answer about them being a family. "Fine." He said with a huff. "I'll give them a chance but only one chance." He tells him knowing that Gale would keep talking about it till Gale got what he wanted so Dakota decided to agree circumventing that discussion by agreeing before it started.

"Okay now that that's settled lets have some fun okay?" He asked, knowing that even though Gale would support his choice he would keep mentioning it so he decided to make him happy and stop talking about his parents.

Gale had a feeling that Dakota was only trying to make him happy but decided it was better for him to drop the subject at least for now. "I am not asking for you to do more then that", he replied simply. He nodded at the suggestion that they move onto something more fun. He reluctantly dropped his ares from around Dakota and took a few steps back. "What did you want to do? We can go somewhere else even if you like?" He asked. He had come to this place simply because it was the first place that came to mind. He remember playing her a few times with Dakota and Danielle.

"Lets just swim for a bit, I do like swimming you know?" He asked with a cheeky grin, pulling him back against him moving further into the water before floating on his back. "I like it here. It was mine and Dani's favourite place, I'm glad that you like it here." He tells him before moving so that he was trending water again, he moved closer and kissed him softly on the lips. He could grow addicted to kissing Gale it was quite amazing and he wondered why he hadn't been doing it before. "We can go somewhere else if you want to. I don't mind staying here or we can play beach volleyball or play water polo."

Gale wasn't as at home in the water as Dakota was but he let himself get dragged out by the older boy. He trusted Dakota to make sure that he wasn't hurt and it wasn't as though he didn't know how to swim. "Like it? It's one of my favourite places Kota", he admitted. It reminded him of Dakota after all and anything that did that was fast becoming a obsession for Gale. His hands press softly to Dakota's chest as he kissed him and despite the fact that he knew he was likely to get sun burnt, he found himself not wanting to leave the secluded little beach area. The main thing he wanted was to be alone with Dakota and here he was getting that. "I am happy just here Kota", he replied. He would complain if they went back to the beach though. He found it hard to remember to keep treading water wit Dakota kissing him.

"I'm glad." He admitted with a grin kissing him again moving them towards the bank as he did so not wanting to make Gale drown he knew that he could protect him and make it so that he could breath underwater but he also knew about the kind of panic that that sort of thing could have and that would wreck the mood. He picked him up in his arms moving over and laying him down on the towel that way laid out on the beach. He started kissing him again pushing his hand into Gale's hair. He moved away a little kissing down his neck.

Gale moved back to the beach with Dakota and laughed slightly as he was picked up. He wanted to say that he could walk himself but he did enjoy snuggling against Dakota's chest so he ignored that. He felt the towel against his back and was glad for it. He kissed Dakota back until his lips moved away. His head tilted to the side and his hands drifted over Dakota's chest. A short soft moan came from him at the feeling of Dakota's lips on his neck and his hands moved further down Dakota's chest, stopping when he felt material rather then skin.
