She swam far from the shore as she always did.  She had control over her powers these days so it was not a fear for the campers that made her do so but for a love of the deeper water for that is where the animals she loved often stayed.  She danced through the water with a hippicampus.  One of the animals her father had she knew and a animal that she now held in her domain.  She loved all the animals of the sea though even if only the mystical ones where hers.  She used her control over the currents to help speed her through the water to keep up.  She surfaced in time to see the creature jump from the water and to was close enough to get hit from the splash as it re entered.

Poseidon stood on the shore watching Danielle, it was amazing that she was his child. He took a seat and kept watching her, he had missed so much. He hated that and wished that he had't missed all that time with her, with them, both the twins. He let out a sigh, feeling the loss keenly, but he hoped that they would give both him and Amphy a chance to get to know them. He would also understand if they didn't he knew how hard it can be to forgive parent's for not being there for them, he still hated his own parent's but he didn't think that he had done anything as serious as his parent's had sure they disappeared but it was better for everyone that they had.

After a moment Danielle become aware of someone watching her and she said her farewells to the animal and used the currents to help her swim back to shore. She stopped a little way out when she first saw Poseidon before continuing on. Something about him seemed to speak of the man she had heard about rather then the man she had known. She walked from the water and stopped but a few meters from him. She was older then she should have been and she wondered how he would feel about that. "Hey dad?", she said nervously, finally moving to take a seat on the sand close to his side.

"Hello Danielle, I'm sorry." He tells her, looking out over the ocean. "For you know, not being there when you where children. I can finally see what we missed and I'm quite sad that we did. I mean it was important that we left but I don't want you to think that it was more important than you and your brother. I it's just, I mean I wasn't the best person to be around you kids at the time and your mother was worried about what I would get up to if I went alone." He says finally stumbling to a stop, it was not what he had really meant to say to her when they first met again after a few years but he was nervous he wanted her to like him and didn't think that that was going to happen. He took a deep breath turning to face her wondering what she was thinking.

Danielle watched him as he spoke and wasn't sure what to say. It wasn't until he turned to look at her that she realised that he meant what he had said and she shifted to hug him. "I....it's okay. I do understand", she replied. She wouldn't admit that at first she had not and had felt as abandoned as she was sure her brother did. Her understanding had come after listening to what Gabriel had said about the past and what her father had done to save them all. "Gabriel explained to me what happened in the Kronus war. I am just glad you came back."

"I'm glad you understand." He tells her hugging her back tightly, feeling the weight of the world off his shoulders knowing that his kids didn't hate him made him feel so much better. He tightened his hold just a bit he hadn't thought that he would every have a chance to get to know his kids. "I would like to get to know you if that's okay with you?" He asked her, with a smile after he pulled back still holding her hand wondering what she would say. "No pressure or anything you don't have to if you don't want to."
