Vivian looked around her with a curious look she had never been to this part of the camp before. She pouted realizing that she was lost, she closed her eyes and drew on the dead to lead her way home. Opening her eyes she frowned when she realized that she had no idea which cabin she was in front of she shrugged before she walked up to the front door and knocked. Looking around she wondered where she was and which cabin was this she hoped it was a cabin that didn’t fear her because she didn't look forward to the looks of terror that would follow if it was not a Thanatos friendly cabin. She soon grew bored of standing waiting for the door to open so she curled up on one of the chairs and before long fell asleep.

Declan sighed as he once again got lost in the camp. He had hoped to find the Thanatos cabin but he found himself back in a familar area with the graffiti peace symbol's on the walls. He stopped for a moment before sighing again and deciding he would have to try again later. It was only when he was half way up the stairs that he saw the girl curled up on one of the chairs on the porch. A smile crossed his face and he took a seat on the chair beside her as he tried to decide if he should wake her or not. He really did want to spend more time with her

Vivan woke with a yawn stretching looking around blinking wondering where she was, before she remembered that she had gotten lost. She blinked again looking at Declan wondering why he was here maybe she at his cabin. "Hello." She said with a grin, sitting up and stretching again looking at him she really liked him he was so different from anyone she had seen before. "Sorry, I got lost and ended up here is this your cabin? I'm so glad I ended up here and not somewhere that would hate me because of my father. I uhh sorry I didn't umm mean to just turn up."

Declan watched her as she woke, hoping that she wouldn't think him a creep for doing so and was relieved when she didn't. "Hey", he responded simply at first as he grinned at her. "You can help who your father is and it just makes you who you are", he replied. He saw no reason to fear her because her father was Thanatos. Yes he was the god of death but she had already saved his life once. "I'm glad your hear. I had been going to find you but I also got lost and ended up back here. I had been going to try again until I saw someone up here. Would you like to come in?" It wasn't as though he had any siblings to upset if he invited her into his rooms after all.

"I'm glad you think that way, most of the kids here judge based on who your parents are." Vivian says, grinning back at him standing up and stretching again. "I'd love to come in, do you have anything to eat? I'm starving." Vivian smiled at him he was so cute, she blushed at her thoughts he probably just felt thankful that she saved his life and here she was crushing on him. "Why were you looking for me?" She flopped back when she asked that wondering why he had been looking for her probably to say thanks for saving his life.

Declan shrugged, "Our parents aren't something we have any control over. Besides I am still trying to fully get my head around my father being more then a dead beat. After all he is a dead beat, peace loving, God of tattoo's and gambling. I suppose that's why I have a good poker face", he replied with a smile. He held the door open for her. As the only son of Maddox that was ever likely to turn up as a demigod, Declan had taken it upon himself to redesign the cabin to his liking. There wasn't much he could do but he had convinced a few campers to get him a few things in exchange for free tattoos. Hence how he had managed to set up a few couches and a tv complete with a few gaming systems, instead of a few of the bunks. He had kept some of those there of course, just in case people needed a place to stay. "Feel free to take a seat", he said to her, as he ducked off into another room. He came back with a packet of chips and a few pieces of fruit. "It's not much but I can't say I have ever really been much of a cook."

It was her last question that he had been trying to avoid and it was only after they had both taken a seat that he even tried to answer it. "You asked why I was trying to find you? Well there are a few reasons I could give there. For one you where the first person to show me kindness here and I really do appreciate it. Two, well you did save my life and I must say I will always be greatful for that. The others are more selfish though I am afraid and you can ignore them if they make you feel uncomfortable." He feel silent for a moment before he decided that he might as well speak her mind. He just hoped he didn't upset her to much. "For one I like looking at beautiful things and the other is that I would love to get to know you better, daughter of death and all." He found it harder to admit that he had a crush on her but it was probably for the best. He could have already scared her off after all.

“Yeah I know that we have no control over it but some people are still judgmental.” Vivian says, taking a seat when be offered feeling out of place she had never been invited into another kids cabin so it was strange but really cool she was glad that Declan hadn’t been scared off by who her parent was. She looked around quite impressed by what she saw it was much cooler than the setup of her cabin. Vivian was glad that Declan was getting to know his father. She still hadn’t met hers it made her feel a little sad that he didn’t care enough about her to come and see her but deep down she hoped that he was way too busy and that is what was keeping him away and not the fact that he didn’t want or care about her. “It’s all good, both my brothers are hopeless at cooking and manage to burn water.” She tells him with a grin before taking a piece of fruit and eating it.

Vivian blinked rapidly trying to figure out what he had just said before the meaning sunk in and she started to blush brightly. Declan was the first guy to be interested in her and she really liked him too. “You think I’m beautiful?” She asked, it was the first thing that came to her mind and she hoped that it made sense because she was still scattered. “I mean, I would love to get to know you better too.” Vivian finally managed to say, looking down at her hands her face blushing brighter hoping that he was being honest because she didn’t know how she would cope if it was all a big joke. “Are you sure you want to be with me though you’ll probably get a lot of push back from other campers warning you off and that’s not the smartest move if you want to make friends because some of the other kids really hate me and would not talk to you on principle because you’re associating with me. And I really don’t want you to start to resenting me because us dating, I mean getting to know each other better will make others mad.” She tells him, worrying her lower lip between her teeth as she waited for his answer hoping that he ignored her warning but she knew that she had to say it because she wouldn’t be able to live with herself if she didn’t give him the warning.

"I have noticed some of the judgemental parts of camp. I have learned to be wary of the kids of Ares and Mars. Not everyone wants to be friends with the pacifist." He knew that he could change that though. It was as much a part of him as his gift with tattoos and gambling. He took a seat beside her. "My cooking skills are at least better then fighting skills", he commented, trying not to laugh at what she said about her brothers.

Declan couldn't help the smile at her blush. He wasn't as apprehensive about having basically admitted his feelings now. "I do and I'm glad", he replied to her. He listened to what she had to say before leaning in to kiss her. It was only after that he feared he could have stepped to far. "I hope that was to forward", he muttered. He had wanted to do that since the lunch they had had together here at camp. "The truth is that I don't care what other people here think. They will come around eventually. Have you considered the thought that being with me could make things easier here for you? From what I understand, there are those here that only hate you and your siblings because they fear what powers you could have. Being with......someone who can't even hold a sword should make you appear less dangerous." His hand moved up to brush her hair away, "but either way, consider the warning heard, considered and ignored. People will always have a problem with it."

"Yeah some of the kids of Ares and Mars are really judgy." Vivian says, taking another piece of fruit and eating it. "Ohh." She said, feeling overwhelmed that he wasn't scared of her. So many people were scared of her and it was a relief to find someone who wasn't scared of her. She was surprised at the kiss but happy. Feeling happiness welling inside her she had never been kissed before and as it went it was a brilliant first kiss but she wouldn't mind more kisses.

"It's not too far and I wouldn't mind a repeat." She tells him  wondering if he was going to kiss her again she hoped that he was going to kiss her again because the brief touch of lips wasn't nearly enough. She would kiss him first but she didn't know if that would be too forward  even though he had already kissed her and if it would scare him away she had heard that preferred to take the lead. She licked her lips waiting to see what he would do with her answer hoping that she didn't blow her chance with him but she was never very good at not voicing what she wanted.
