It had been a while since Jonathan returned to camp and he was finally taking a trip back to the outside world.  He had wanted to get Eliot something special for everything he had put up with from him in the past and for the trading he had been giving him recently.  But mostly it was just because he loved him and he certainly had plenty of money to waste anyway.  He spent most of the morning looking at jewellery stores and kitchen shops.  Eliot's love of cooking had been a surprise for joining Nathan when he first found out about it but it was also something he loved about him.  Specially when he was useless at it himself.  He had learned a bit from Eliot over the years though.  Through all his looking though, Jonathan had yet to find something that he had thought worth it though and had stopped to get himself some lunch and take a break.  His hand ran over the comb in his pocket as he sat and looked around him.

Nico let out a curse when he accidentally ran into someone. He steadied himself before apologising. "I'm so sorry." He tells him, running his hand over his slightly larger than normal belly. He really hoped that the other man wouldn't be too mad. He frowned peering closer at him. "Ohh my god, you're Jonathan Hardison aren't you?" He asked feeling awestruck he had seen a few of the pictures he had done it was so awesome he was trying to act normal because he knew that the other man must get a lot of people mooning over him because he was a celebrity.

Jonathan stumbled as he felt someone run into him but rightened himself before he could fall. "No problem", he replied before the guy recognised him. He almost groaned and glanced around hoping no one else had heard the guy. "I am, but please keep quiet. I really don't want to be recognised", he replied. Jonathan was sick of digging the questions he couldn't honestly answer. The questions that if he did, would likely see him locked up in a mental institution. Though something told him that if he told this guy the truth he would understand. Something told him that he was like him.

Movement from the corner of his eye made Jonathan turn. He glimpsed the hell hound just as it seemed to pick up on them. He had hoped to not have a run in with a monster today but the last thing he needed was to have a run in that could result in human casualties. "Run", he commented simply to the guy with him making sure he took the advice as he took off down the street, looking for somewhere he could face it without the possibility of a mortal getting hurt. His eyes caught a deserted alley as he passed and he quickly turned and darted down it.

Nico looked sheepish at Jonathan feeling bad for opening his mouth. "Sorry." He apologised feeling guilty he knew what it was like to be known and questioned all the time.

"Damn." Nico swore softly before sprinting after him cursing the fact that he left the house he was much slower and more awkward being pregnant especially with triplets already showing when he shouldn't be he really hoped that he didn't get injured or Percy would be beside himself and Nico really didn't want anything to happen to his babies be cursed himself again mentally pressing a hand to his stomach feeling like a horrible dad for putting his kids in danger. He finally reached the place that Jonathan had selected he used his powers to call up his sword. He worried about what using his power would do to the kids but he knew that Apollo hadn't said anything about not using his powers so hopefully it would be okay because he didn't know what he would do if his actions hurt the babies because he would never be able to forgive himself.

He held his sword in one hand his other pressed against his stomach making a protective barrier around his stomach with his powers hoping that that would be enough to protect them from the hellhound. He also mentally called for Percy knowing that it wouldn't help but he really wanted Percy there to protect them.

Jonathan picked up on the guys defensiveness and a thought crossed his mind. It was obvious that the guy was pregnant and he wondered if he would ever get that chance with Eliot. He pulled his comb from his pocket and as he gripped the right spot on it it grew into a sword. It hit him then that he didn't know the other guys name but he shifted so he stood more in front of him. "If there is a way out of the ally, I want you to take it", he commented to Nico. His hand tightened on the sword and his mind went over the moves that Eliot was making him learn. It wasn't the first hellhound that scared him, but rather the two that followed and he hadn't seen any trace of during their dash away. Eliot...help.. He knew that Elliot would never hear it as he wasn't a god but the words still came unwilling to his mind.

Nico looked down and blinked rapidly feeling grateful that the other man was willing to risk his life to let him get away and he knew as much as he wouldn't want to he would take it because he didn't want his babies hurt. "Thanks." He said, a few tears clinging to his lashes. "I'm sorry if I leave you here but I need to protect them." Nico gestured to his stomach before pulling his power to himself calling a few ghosts hoping to get the hellhound to attack them and then try and sneak away. He froze pressing his hand against his stomach spinning around and peering into the darkness he felt something old and malicious hiding there he moved his sword getting ready to get attacked hoping that his babies survived.

Jonathan nodded simply. He could hardly blame the guy for leaving to protect his children. Jonathan kept his eyes on the two hell hounds that had rounded the corners of the alley. He changed his grip on the sword hoping that the nerves that where making his hands sweat didn't cause him to drop it. He didn't realize that there was anything behind them until a voice spoke. "Drop the weapons. You can't win."

Jonathan cursed under his breath. He really wished Eliot was beside him as he wasn't sure he could protect the pregnant guy. The last thing he wanted though was to drop his sword. He turned to half take in the rest of the alley as he continued to watch the approach of the hell hounds.

Nico took a deep breath weighing up the chance of winning over the chance of loosing a baby and decided that he didn't think that it was worth the risk of loosing his babies. So he dropped the sword which then disappeared. "I surrender." He said raising his hands wondering if he could do that disappearing thing that the other gods did but he had no clue how to do it and he didn't know if doing it would risk his babies so he decided not to try hoping that the voice wouldn't kill them because he didn't want to hurt Percy like that and not meet his babies.

Jonathan sighed as the other guy surrendered. He could understand why the guy had done so but he didn't feel comfortable putting his faith into that voice. He had a feeling that they couldn't be trusted. Still he knew that he couldn't take the hell hounds alone and he was worried that him not surrendering could lead to the other guy getting hurt.

"You really want to risk the safety of you both", the voice rang through to him.

Jonathan sighed again. "Okay okay. I surrender", he replied to the voice. He glanced black at the other guy before the sword dropped from his hand, turning to a comb again before it even hit the ground.

"I'm sorry," Nico tells him softly looking down at the floor feeling like a failure and bad that Jonathan had to surrender as well but he hoped that he was making the right decision, hoping that giving in would give him a chance in the future to escape alive with his children. "I just can't risk them killing my babies."

Nico felt nauseous as the evil he sensed came closer he swayed a little the evil coming off it choking him. Before he realised it he had slumped against the wall concentrating on breathing and not passing out it was a near thing but he managed to not pass out.

Jonathan tried to keep himself between Nico and who ever it was that wanted them. "It's okay", he commented back. "I would have done the same", he continued, knowing it was true. If he had have been pregnant with Elliot's kids, he knew that he would have done anything to have protected them as well.

Jonathan tried to ignore the heaviness in the air that threatened to make him lose consciousness as he watched the monsters move in closer. He made a sloppy kick towards the monsters, trying to keep them back before the smell in the air took hold of him and everything went black. When the two guys to wake, they would both be in rooms with others they didn't know.
